Overview
Lake Natron is one of the strangest landscapes in Tanzania — mineral crusts, shifting colour and heat, framed by the active volcano Ol Doinyo Lengai.
It is the most important breeding ground for lesser flamingos in East Africa and a favourite of photographers and adventurous travellers.
