Overview
The Serengeti is Tanzania's defining wilderness — a vast plateau of short-grass plains, riverine woodland and ancient granite outcrops that stretches further than the eye can follow.
It is a landscape built around movement. Wildebeest and zebra follow the rains in a slow annual circle, and the predators of the Serengeti move with them, which means the park offers extraordinary game viewing in every month of the year.
