Zanzibar Archipelago
Where Safari Meets the Indian Ocean
A short flight from the Serengeti: warm water, coral reefs, dhow sails and a thousand years of Swahili trading history.

The Island
The natural close to a Tanzanian journey
Most of our guests finish on Zanzibar. After a week of early starts and long drives, a few days of sea and shade is exactly right.
Zanzibar is easy to reach — a 60 to 90 minute flight from the Serengeti or Arusha — and easy to enjoy at any pace. Stone Town rewards a slow morning on foot. The north coast swims well at every tide. The south-east has the lagoon colour people come for.
We arrange the flight, the transfer, the accommodation and any excursions as one seamless extension of your safari, so nothing needs rebooking on the ground.

Zanzibar FAQs
Scheduled light-aircraft flights leave Serengeti airstrips each day and connect via Arusha to Zanzibar, generally arriving the same afternoon. We arrange these flights as part of your itinerary.
Three nights is a pleasant pause; four to five nights is better if you want reef trips, Stone Town and genuine rest after safari.
