We only visit communities who have chosen to host guests, we pay them directly, and we ask before photographing anyone. Nothing is staged for the camera.

Food and cooking

Songs mark work, ceremony and celebration. When they are offered, they are part of an occasion — not a performance staged for a camera.
Craft and beadwork
Beadwork carries meaning about age, status and family. Buying directly supports the makers rather than a middleman.
Community tourism
Fees are agreed in advance and paid transparently, and we return to the same partners rather than treating communities as stops.

Hot air balloon safari
Sunrise flight over the Serengeti, followed by a bush breakfast.
Walking safari
Guided on foot with an armed ranger, in areas where it is permitted.

Available in select conservancies and private concessions.

Longer sittings, better light, bean bags and lower vehicle angles.
