This safari visits Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park.

1. Day 01

   Arrival in Arusha

   You are met on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Your guide joins you for a full safari briefing, and the rest of the day is yours to rest and adjust after your flight.

2. Day 02

   Arusha → Tarangire National Park

   We drive through Maasai grazing land to Tarangire National Park, a landscape of enormous baobabs and a permanent river that draws great herds of elephant. Game drives follow the river valley, with excellent chances of lion, giraffe and a remarkable variety of birds.

3. Day 03

   Tarangire → Serengeti Migration Sector

   We drive through Maasai grazing land to Tarangire National Park, a landscape of enormous baobabs and a permanent river that draws great herds of elephant. Game drives follow the river valley, with excellent chances of lion, giraffe and a remarkable variety of birds.

4. Day 04

   Full Day with the Migration Herds

   We position ourselves with the herds. Depending on the month this may mean the calving grounds of the southern plains or the river lines of the north, where wildebeest and zebra gather in their thousands with predators close behind.

5. Day 05

   Serengeti Plains & Optional Balloon Safari

   The Serengeti opens out in front of you: short-grass plains, granite kopjes and horizon in every direction. We spend the day tracking predators and plains game with your guide, pausing for a picnic lunch in the shade before the light softens into a golden afternoon drive.

6. Day 06

   Migration Tracking & Predator Viewing

   We position ourselves with the herds. Depending on the month this may mean the calving grounds of the southern plains or the river lines of the north, where wildebeest and zebra gather in their thousands with predators close behind.

7. Day 07

   Serengeti → Ngorongoro Highlands

8. Day 08

   Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha

   We descend more than 600 metres onto the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, a contained world of grassland, forest and soda lake. The density of wildlife here is extraordinary — lion, elephant, buffalo, hippo and flamingo, with a genuine chance of black rhino.
