1. Day 01

   Arrival in Arusha

   You are met on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Your guide joins you for a full safari briefing, and the rest of the day is yours to rest and adjust after your flight.

2. Day 02

   Arusha → Tarangire National Park

   We drive through Maasai grazing land to Tarangire National Park, a landscape of enormous baobabs and a permanent river that draws great herds of elephant. Game drives follow the river valley, with excellent chances of lion, giraffe and a remarkable variety of birds.

3. Day 03

   Tarangire → Lake Manyara National Park

4. Day 04

   Lake Manyara → Serengeti National Park

   Lake Manyara sits beneath the Rift Valley escarpment, layering groundwater forest, open floodplain and a shallow soda lake. We look for tree-climbing lions, large baboon troops, hippo pools and — in the right season — flamingos along the shoreline.

5. Day 05

   Full Day in the Serengeti

   The Serengeti opens out in front of you: short-grass plains, granite kopjes and horizon in every direction. We spend the day tracking predators and plains game with your guide, pausing for a picnic lunch in the shade before the light softens into a golden afternoon drive.

6. Day 06

   Serengeti Plains Exploration

   Serengeti → Ngorongoro Crater

8. Day 08

   Ngorongoro → Lake Eyasi Cultural Day

   We descend more than 600 metres onto the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, a contained world of grassland, forest and soda lake. The density of wildlife here is extraordinary — lion, elephant, buffalo, hippo and flamingo, with a genuine chance of black rhino.

9. Day 09

   Lake Eyasi → Arusha Departure

   Below the Eyasi escarpment we spend time with Hadzabe and Datoga families, joining an early walk and learning how they live in this dry Rift Valley landscape. Visits are arranged with community consent, in small groups, at an unhurried pace.
